Start in the lively city of Vienna before crossing into Croatia, where you will have four nights to enjoy the picture-perfect country of Croatia. Budapest straddles the Danube River boasting a vibrant promenade with plenty of restaurants and bars to enjoy. Soak in the beauty of Albania, Montenegro and North Macedonia, then step back in time exploring historical zone in Bulgaria and Greece, travelling all the way down to the breath-taking city of Istanbul, where East meets West.

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN AUSTRIA – VIENNA (20 KM)
Upon arrival we transfer to the hotel to rest a bit and then head to a small village where we will have dinner at Heurigen wine in the pretty wine village of Grinzing. Overnight in Vienna. (AUSTRIA)
DAY 2: VIENNA
After breakfast we will walk in the The`old town`, or city center, is the first district, with the Stephansdom and Stephansplatz at the centre of a bull`s eye. It is encircled by the Ringstrasse (Ring Road), a grand boulevard constructed along the old city walls, which were torn down at the end of the 19th century. Along the Ringstrasse are many famous and grand buildings, including the Rathaus, the Austrian Parliament, the Hofburg Palace, the Natural History Museum, the Museum of Art History (Kunsthistorisches Museum), and the State Opera House. DAY 3: VIENNA – KUMROVEC – ZAGREB (390 KM)
After breakfast we will drive to Kumrovec and we will visit an open-air museum has some tastefully restored traditional homes. The birthplace of Tito, a small low house built in 1860. Inside is a tiny exhibition devoted to the statesman. The village also has some twenty homes and barns, built between 1860 and 1937, with pastel-colored façades and the occasional thatched roof. Inside visitors are treated to an insight into the different trades practiced in former times. Then we drive to Zagreb. Overnight in Zagreb. (CROATIA)
DAY 4: ZAGREB – PLITVICE LAKE – ZADAR (270 KM)
After breakfast we will visit features all important landmarks of the Lower and medieval Upper Town, such as the Parliament, Stone Gate, the Archbishop’s Palace, plus a visit to the majestic CATHEDRAL. Continue to Plitvice, and soak in the pure beauty of the NATIONAL PARK, famous for its lakes, waterfalls, and forests. Drive towards the Adriatic coast and arrive in the pretty coastal city of Zadar. DAY 5: ZADAR – SPLIT (160 KM)
After breakfast our local Guide will tell you about the turbulent history of this city, fighting off the Venetians, crusaders, and Turks over the centuries. Continue to Split, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. During your guided walking tour, learn about the history of this captivating resort and visit the labyrinth of 4th-century DIOCLETIAN’S PALACE, a well-preserved fortress and a living part of the Old Town. DAY 6: SPLIT – MOSTAR – SARAJEVO (300 KM)
After breakfast we will drive to Bosnia-Herzegovina and stop in the city of Mostar. Admire the OLD BRIDGE, the city’s symbol, ordered by Suleiman the Magnificent, the Ottoman ruler in 1566, to replace the older wooden bridge. Continue to Sarajevo, where the Olympics took place in 1984, and the first city in Europe to own an electric tram network. Overnight in Sarajevo. (BOSNIA & HERZEGOVINA)
DAY 7: SARAJEVO – DUBROVNIK (240 KM)
After breakfast we will explore the capital city of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the beautiful Ottoman style mosques and buildings. Walk around the typical Turkish old quarters with a lot of oriental markets and traditional Bosnian foods. Visit the Catholic Cathedral, Orthodox Church and Jewish synagogue and then we drive to Dubrovnik. Overnight in Dubrovnik. (CROATIA)
DAY 8: DUBROVNIK
After breakfast we will visit Dubrovnik. Dubrovnik was once an independent maritime republic rivaling Venice. Enjoy a walking tour with a local Guide and see the impressive ramparts, erected during the Crusades to protect the town against land attacks, and the Franciscan and Dominican monasteries. You will also visit the 15th-century RECTOR’S PALACE. Afternoon and evening at leisure; an optional boat cruise is available. Overnight in Dubrovnik. (CROATIA)
DAY 9: DUBROVNIK – PERAST – KOTOR (95 KM)
After breakfast we will enter to Montenegro. First, we will stop to a small village called Perast. Perast, as an absolute highlight of the Bay of Kotor, is also one of the most beautiful Baroque towns in Montenegro. As a former sailor center, it still shines with marvelous buildings, pretty churches and a romantic waterfront. Nevertheless, the main attractions of Perast, and also the most famous postcard motif of Kotor Bay, are the 2 offshore church islands, which can be visited on a boat trip. Then we drive to the city of Kotor. Kotor’s top attractions are all in the pedestrian old town, so you can easily get around on foot. We will visit, Sea Gate, River Gate, Gurdić Gate, Kampana Tower and citadel, St Tryphon’s Cathedral, St Nicholas’ Church, St Luke’s Church, Saint Mary’s Church, Pima Palace, Grgurina Palace / Maritime Museum, Karampana Fountain, Farmers Market, San Giovanni Fortress. DAY 10: KOTOR – BUDVA – SHKODRA (110 km)
After breakfast we drive to Albania but we will first stop to Budva. Budva is a town in Montenegro on the Adriatic Sea. Part of the Budva Riviera, it’s known for sandy beaches and nightlife. Stone walls built by the Venetians surround the narrow streets of the medieval old town (Stari Grad). This historic district is home to a seaside citadel and religious sites such as the Church of Santa Maria in Punta, established in the 9th century. Then we drive to Shkodra. Overnight in Shkodra. DAY 11: SHKODRA – KRUJA – TIRANA (120 KM)
After breakfast we drive to Shkodra the most important town of north Albania and the Illyrian capital, in the 3rd century BC. Visit Rozafa Castle from where spectacular views all around can be admired. Experience the supremacy the Illyrians would have feel over their enemies standing in such an imposing castle. Take a walk in the newly renovated pedestrian area of Italian and Austrian architecture, testimony to this town historic links with both these countries and then we will visit the famous Viennese mask factory which is located near the city of Shkodra. The Venetian masks made in Shkodra are all crafted by hand. They combine traditional techniques with new contemporary decoration. The masks have intricate details, bright colors, fancy feathers, gold leaf, and crystals that make them unique pieces of art. The masks are exported all over the world. Proceed to Kruja – the center of Albanian resistance against the Turks under our national hero Scanderbeg. He kept them from crossing into Western Europe for 25 years, thus earning the title “Champion of Christ” given by the Pope of the time. We visit the Skanderbeg Museum, a very rich Ethnographic Museum and the Old Bazaar where the best handmade souvenirs can be purchased. Overnight in Tirana. (ALBANIA)
DAY 12: TIRANA
After breakfast we will start the amazing free tour that will take us to some of the most important landmarks in the Albanian capital. We will walk to Skanderbeg Square to admire the impressive mosaic on the façade of the National Museum. Afterward, we will admire the iconic buildings of the area such as the National Museum of Fine Arts, Bunk’Art 2, and the Dajti Hotel. Our tour then continues by strolling through the picturesque streets of the city center and crossing the river Lana until we reach the magnificent Pyramid of Tirana. You will learn all about the history of this fascinating construction and why it exists in Albania. We then head to the former Communist Party headquarters, which is now the elegant Presidential Palace. We will learn the history of those who lived behind these walls before heading to the Polytechnic University of Tirana. Overnight in Tirana. (ALBANIA)
DAY 13: TIRANA – ELBASAN – OHRID (135 KM)
After breakfast we drive Ohrid but first we stop to Elbasan. We will visit old town and then we drive to Ohrid. It is the largest city on Lake Ohrid and the eighth largest city in the country, Ohrid is famous for having had 365 churches, one for each day of the year, and has been referred to as Jerusalem (from the Balkans) Ohrid and the Lake Ohrid has been recognized as a cultural and natural heritage by UNESCO, in fact Ohrid is one of only 28 UNESCO World Heritage sites that are both cultural and natural sites. Lunch at the local restaurant. Visit the church of St. Sophia, Castle Samuil and The Church of Saint Clement. Overnight in Ohrid. (NORTH MACEDONIA)
DAY 14: OHRID – SKOPJE (175 KM)
After breakfast we will drive to Skopje. In Skopje we will visit, the monastery of Jovan Bigorski, Arabati Baba Tekke, and Motley Mosque. In the afternoon visit the Skopje museum, the Stone Bridge, the St. Spas Church, Mustafa Pasha Mosque, and the largest Turkish bath in the Balkans is located here and is now an art museum. DAY 15: SKOPJE – SOFIA (245 KM)

DAY 16: SOFIA
After breakfast we will discover houses that preserves an unique medieval Bulgarian architecture and a hidden 16th century Church of Nativity with beautiful and richly inside painted fresco. Next, arrival in Veliko Tarnovo , “City of Tsars”, the former capital of the Second Bulgarian Kingdom. Tsarevets Fortress, Monument of the Asenevtsi kings, Samovodska charshia are the main attractions of the city. In the evening we will arrive in Sofia. The walking tour of city center will include the gold-domed Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, Saint (Sveta) Sofia Church, Banya Bashi Mosque, the Sofia Synagogue and the main shopping street Vitosha. DAY 17: SOFIA – PLOVDIV (150 KM)
After breakfast we will drive to Plovdiv. Plovdiv is an ancient city built around 7 hills, in southern Bulgaria. The Regional Archaeological Museum chronicles the city’s history, with exhibits including mosaic panels, clay lamps and early coins. The Roman-era Ancient Theatre of Philippopolis, which once seated around 6,000, now hosts opera and concerts. A 3D movie at the Emperor Hadrian–era Ancient Stadium re-creates Plovdiv in the 2nd century A.D. Overnight in Plovdiv. (BULGARIA)
DAY 18: PLOVDIV – ISTANBUL (420 KM)

DAY 19: ISTANBUL
After breakfast we will join to our historical tour and you will have a full day historical tour with our knowledgeable, experienced and professional local guide. Today, we will walk together on the stairs of history. Starting from East Roman, we will continue to Byzantium, Ottoman and today’s Republic of Turkey. We will visit, Haghia Sophia Museum is closed on Monday, Blue Mosque closed on Friday due to Prayer, Grand Covered Bazaar is closed on Sunday, Topkapi Palace is closed on Tuesday, Sultans Tombs closed on Monday, Little Hagia Sophia Mosque.
